More than 700 years of Westfalen: 25 employees who have been committed to their jobs for decades have now been honored by the company for their many years of loyalty in a festive setting. Some of them have been with Westfalen for 25 years, others for an impressive 40 years.
The ceremony, including a meal and entertainment program, took place in the Westfalen Forum at the company headquarters in Münster. The celebration kicked off with an opening show by sand artists about Westfalen over the years. The highlight: the sand artists drew portraits of the employees live on the spot and depicted the development of the company headquarters in the sand. Click here for the video:
During the ceremony, Westfalen Chief Financial Officer Jesko von Stechow emphasized the importance of long-standing colleagues from all areas of the group as the foundation for the company's future: “Their experience ensures that, despite all the changes, our company's essential values and culture are passed on to younger colleagues and brought to life.”
Katharina Max-Theuer, member of the board of trustees of the Fritsch-Albert Family Foundation, thanked everyone present on behalf of the entrepreneurial family: “Our company's success story is also based on your commitment. I would like to express my sincere thanks for your trust, your loyalty, your adaptability and your consistency. This solidarity impresses me very much.”
Over the course of the evening, all the celebrants were also honored individually and personally by their respective managers.
