Westfalen celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2023. Committed to its history, the company also has many plans for the future: As a family business, we have always thought in terms of generations - and see it as our responsibility to make a contribution to society. For us, progress and sustainability are not contradictory; rather, they define our business and our commitment to future generations. As an independent family-owned company, we have always thought in terms of generations and embrace our social responsibility accordingly.

A picture that points to the future.

As future makers, we consistently align our solutions and business models to our mission. In industrial gases and refrigerants, climate-neutral products will gain considerable importance. In the heating market, we aim to position ourselves as a leading supplier of electricity-based energy solutions. In the mobility sector, we are focusing on sustainable mobility hubs. We are establishing green hydrogen as another major growth area. We will also continue to develop our Respiratory Homecare medical business so that we can make an even greater contribution to improving people's quality of life.

In seven years, hydrogen is a growth driver for our company, we are successful with mobile and stationary hydrogen refueling stations and a large hydrogen fleet. We are a solution provider for electricity-based heat and offer our customers wallboxes, heat pumps and photovoltaics. In Mobility, we are focusing on future-proof energy sources, for example by expanding our charging infrastructure for e-mobility, with which we aim to make around half of our revenue."
